(LFE-plywood)

　　LFE-plywood is a kind of plywood glued with Melamine Resin Adhesive. It is also called as environmentally safe plywood for its low formaldehyde content.

　　Formaldehyde is a colorless gas with a pungent odor. The formaldehyde in air mainly comes from various formaldehyde resin adhesive wood-based panel(e.g. plywood, fiber board and etc) which are used as indoor decorating and refurbishing materials such as siding boards and ceiling boards.

　　According to Epidemiological Survey, People chronically exposed to formaldehyde are linked to increased risks of cancers of nasal cavity, oral cavity, nasopharyngeal passage, pharyngeal tonsil, skin and digestive tract. To reduce formaldehyde content in air, low or non- formaldehyde content plywood must be used.
